Production & Post Production

Image
Production I have spent the day creating my first draft for my end product. This has helped me to identify areas that I need to improve in my next version. I have ordered all of my clips into specific folders and created 3 different timelines to have 3 mini projects to work on therefore reducing any possible mix ups and issues with clips. I divided the sequences into the following: B-Roll, Talking to camera and introduction. I have ordered them into these sequences so I know what I am working on and can concentrate exactly on the sequence i am on without getting distracted by working on other things.  I also decided to colour code the clips so I knew where each clip came from. This helped me to organize the clips in the main timeline and to help me order them correctly without having to look through each set of clips.   This is what my timeline looked like once they had all been ordered the way I wanted to. This clearly shows me what is what and helps me identify what c...

Test Footage / Edits

Test Introduction Sequence This is a introduction sequence that I have put together to help me plan how I want my documentary opening to look. I have used my own footage and edited it all in Premiere Pro on the Adobe Cloud. I used a variety of tools within the application to help me create my product.  This is how I ordered my footage in a way that I could understand and in a way that would be easy to navigate to boost productivity. I ordered all my media into categories that suit what they are. Each folder has different media in to help me be as productive as possible without having to trail through loads of footage to find what I am looking for.   This is what my finished timeline looked like. I have utilised the layering ability inside Premiere to match my footage up in ways that I liked the look of. The layering helped to me to time certain pieces of footage up with music or markers that I have placed on the timeline. I used the markers to help me to to li...

Filming Diary

08/03/2022  Sunderland vs Fleetwood - Stadium of Light, 19:45    This risk assessment will help me to safe when I attend the football match by eliminating any risks that I could possibly be exposed to while gathering footage.  To record some of the match I just used my phone as it would have been impractical to bring a camera into the stands. I recorded in 1080p at 60fps thus giving me an option to slow my footage down to 30 fps if needed. To make my footage better quality I could possibly see about getting pitch side access to allow me to use my camera and capture better footage at different angles.   19/03/2022 Recording - day 1 This risk assessment will help me to safe when I attend the filming  location match by eliminating any risks that I could possibly be exposed to while gathering footage.  Starting the day at 6am I travelled down to Roker beach to collect footage at sunrise. I chose this time as it would be relatively quiet with some go...
