Sunderland vs Fleetwood - Stadium of Light, 19:45
Starting the day at 6am I travelled down to Roker beach to collect footage at sunrise. I chose this time as it would be relatively quiet with some good colour in the sky depending on how good the sunrise was. I managed to capture some good B roll footage to add to my documentary to add some flair to the documentary.
After being down Roker for a bit I then travelled to the Stadium of Light where I recorded my talking to camera bits along with some B roll footage. Using the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 lens allowed me to get some really sharp images along with shallow depth of field making subjects really stand out from the backgrounds. Shooting at 50 fps allows me to slow any footage down and still present me with useable footage for any sort of montage or B roll edit. Used in conjunction with my DJI Ronin S I managed to get really smooth, really sharp images which help make my documentary look a lot better.
For the talking to camera bits I decided to just use a tripod as this was the easiest way of keeping the camera still, ensuring a stable shot while I spoke and addressed the audience.
Overall, I managed to gather some solid footage for my documentary I now need to review the footage and see weather I could do with re shooting any parts to make it perfect. I also need to finish my talking to camera parts covering a few more topics before editing them. I want to leave myself with plenty of time so I can re shoot anything or add more clips to make the documentary more interesting.

Today I conducted some test interviews to try and find out a way that works for me. I used the rule of thirds to my advantage to allow me to use special graphics to add a bit of flair to my interviews. I then ran the good takes through Premiere Pro and edited them together in a way that I liked and in a way that would be suitable for my documentary.

Today I managed to put together a rough edit for my documentary using Premiere Pro. I used a variety of features such as labelling and utilising multiple sequences together to improve productivity. I used labels to colour co-ordinate my clips so I can clearly see where they belong and what they are apart of.

This afternoon I managed to gather feedback on my initial edit through the use of google forms. From the feedback gathered I made relevant changed and I'm ready to send this version out to gather further feedback on the next edit. I added an interview segment to the documentary but I need to work on how to introduce them nicely weather that being with a talking to camera clip or a voice over section.

Today I recorded voice overs for the second half of my documentary to go over the match footage. For this I set up my normal video recording rig with a microphone to capture the sound. I used manual sound recording setting in the camera to achieve the best sound quality.
